Woodlief Thomas

Woodlief Thomas lives in Little Rock, Arkansas. He has taught in public schools over sixteen years, predominantly high school English in New Orleans, LA. He’s currently working on his second novel after three years driving a long-haul tractor-trailer. Besides Arkansas and Louisiana, he has lived in Mexico, Mississippi, and New York City, and he holds degrees from Hendrix College, Columbia University, and the University of New Orleans, where he received an MFA in Fiction. His writing has appeared in Oxford American, Armchair/Shotgun, The Progressive, Nowhere, Newfound, and In These Times. Just Off Elysian Fields, which won the Del Sol Press First Novel Prize, was released in 2022.
